Volunteering

We are always looking for volunteers to share their time and energy at Angels.
No experience necessary! All that is required is a willingness to help others rise above their personal limitations. [br]  [br] 

 

Step 1: Start Here

Are you 14 years of age or older and ready to make a difference? Get started by watching the volunteering video linked here. Next, we urge you to read our Handbook and Barn Rules to get started on the right path with the information and tools you will need to be an effective and productive volunteer. All paperwork MUST be completed and submitted in order to volunteer at Angels on Horseback. No Exceptions!

 

 

Step 2: Read the Handbook

Tasks at Angels may include side-walking, grooming horses, maintaining facilities and equipment, preparing horses with the proper tack, performing clerical and administrative duties, acting as committee members and more. Our hope is to provide you with a solid foundation that will enable you to become an important part of Angels on Horseback so that time spent with us will be safe, fun and rewarding.

Step 3: Read the Barn and Property Rules

Barn Rules are designed to create and maintain a clean, safe and fun environment for people and horses.
Working with horses is a high risk activity. The rules must be adhered to at all times.

Step 4: Complete & Mail Registration Form
